Brian Roake, the manging director of the company is well known and
highly respected throughout the world in junior and amateur golf circles.
He was appointed to play an integral part of the English Golf Union’s
junior programme in 2004; first as regional coaching manager and then
for the National England 18 Squad as Manager and Chairman of Selectors.
Brian was also a Boy's Selector for the R & A for four years.
He worked tirelessly developing and innovating the programme which is
now considered to be world class. Within this programme He worked with
top coaches, physios and sports psychologists.
This programme was further complemented by strength & conditioning
and biomechanics. He is very aware of the requirements of modern day
amateur and professional golfers. He has had a major involvement and
influence on young, talented, amateur golfers who have played in the
Walker Cup and also a number of players who are now playing in the
professional ranks on the European Tour.
Brian took his Under 18 Squad to two wins in the Boys Home Internationals, A Silver and Bronze Medal in the European Boys Team Championship and a Bronze in the World Boys Team Championship. Brian has also had experience of professional golf. His son, Chris, was a professional for 12 years and played full time on the Asian Tour.
Brian has worked in advertising and marketing for over 30 years. He brings bring a great deal of experience in negotiating and personal management skills to the company.
